RoomUnity Fellowship 2022

This summer, RoomUnity is hosting up to two groups in New Haven as part of our fellowship program. As a startup ourselves operating in the greatest small city of New Haven, we want to pay it forward and support founders who have great ideas and just need a boost off the ground.

Summer Fellowship Program includes:

• Mentorship with RoomUnity partners, advisors, and founders

• Mid-semester and End-of-semester presentations

• Furnished housing in New Haven in June and July. Pay $0 in rent.

This is what you’ll need for your application:

• Founder(s) resume(s)

• Startup Idea including Business plan/presentation deck

• We have a preference for startups that solve big problems, startups that leverage artificial intelligence and machine learning, and startups with strong technical founder(s)

Successful applicants will receive an offer letter with housing subsidy amount as well as equity amount in exchange.

• Is highly walkable and bikable. "New Haven was the first planned city in America. [...] New Haven has a long tradition of urban planning and a purposeful design for the city's layout."

• Is the Best Foodie City. "Livability.com named New Haven as the Best Foodie City in the country in 2014."- Boasts easy access to the beach, mountains, and trails (bold this pls).

• Is innovative and entrepreneurial. Did you know that FedEx, Twitch, Genentech, and many other companies were either founded by Yale alumni or thought up and collaborated in dorm rooms in New Haven?
